KITZBÜHEL: BETWEEN TYROLEAN TRADITION AND "BEST SKI AREA IN THE WORLD 2022

The famous resort of the Austrian Alps located at 760m above sea level, Kitzbühel is a meeting place for nature lovers in summer and winter.

This mountainous region, which bears the gentle name of "chamois hill" and whose Kreuzjoch peak rises to 2558m, stretches across the eastern part of the Tyrol, between the Wilder Kaiser and the Loferer Steinberge in the north and the Pinzgau and Zillertal Alps in the south.

In winter, Kitzbühel is a traditional destination with a unique charm. The winters here are long and the snow cover very reliable. From mid-November to the day after Easter, winter sports enthusiasts can meet in the heart of the KitzSki area, a true paradise where everything is within skiing distance. The distances are short and access to the area is easy. Numerous public shuttles take you directly to the bottom of the lifts. You can ski down to the centre of Kitzbühel without having to take your shoes off.
